Photonic Sneeze Reflex

The name of the blog comes from a dinner party conversation where I was talking about the photonic sneeze reflex.  This goes by other names too (photic sneeze reflex etc.)  It turns out that Dad reckons he suffers from it.  Anyway, its the phenomenon which causes sneezing

when exposed suddenly to bright light.
